Edwards guitars are made in Japan by ESP. You won't see very many in the UK & every one of those I have seen has been an import. As far as I am aware, Edwards guitars are generally close replicas of USA guitars & as such, they are just made for the Japanese domestic market. What I will say about them is that they are built to a really high standard & not only that, they are usually fitted with USA pickups & electrics (CTS pots & switches) and Japanese GOTOH hardwear. This particular guitar has a pair of factory fitted USA Seymour Duncan Humbuckers. That's a lot of guitar for the money!
The Edwards E-LP-98 LTC is a copy of a Les Paul Custom finished in Ebony with a triple bound body, neck & fretboard. Rather than a full gloss finish, Edwards have gone for a more satin look. The body is Mahogany with a carved Maple top (not chambered) Mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard
The guitar had had a bit of a hard life. When it came in, it had some heavy denting to the rear & a few bashes to the front. I have repaired as much as I can but, without a refinish, the back still has some visible marks although they are heaps better than they were. Having said this, the worst marks are all at the back and the top is very good. The guitar plays really well as you would expect an Edwards to. The pickups sound awesome and the GOTOH hardwear is superb. Here's the spec..

Thomann Black fitted Hard Case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag

Or, you can buy easily and safely using the paypal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
