2006/8 Fender Japan '72 Reissue Stratocaster with US Pickups in Vintage White
with new hard case
This Fender Japan '72 reissue was built between 2006 & 2008. This is the model factory fitted with GOTOH tuners & USA pickups. It looks great in vintage white with the large headstock & scrolled script plus maple fretboard. A real 70's look!
The guitar has had quite a hard life and has various bumps & nicks all around the body but the majority are to the rear of the guitar. The two worst were through to the wood & have been repaired but once again, these are on the back edges. There was also a bump on the back of the neck and some missing lacquer on the fretboard. All of this has been repaired, smoothed & polished now with no indents etc. I have taken lots of photos to try and show these as best as I can. The lower than usual price reflects the condition. Please check out the gallery photos.
Although the guitar has been used, the frets are good with no indents & the neck is nice and straight with low action & ease of playing. The guitar plays really nicely and the USA vintage pickups sound great
I have also included a photo from the Fender Japan to show the guitar spec.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. I do have a tweed option and these are a little dearer (extra £10). If you prefer that, please email me for details. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £30) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in
So to sum up, a nice 72 reissue from Fender Japan. This model is very difficult to find here in the UK.
