Here's a very nice example of the ever popular Fender Mustang. Finished in the more unusual 3 tone sunburst, this guitar is in overall very good condition just a couple of minor indents on the lower edge and a few other very minor blemishes. I have tried to photograph these as best as I can. Please check out the gallery
This guitar was made in Japan 2006/8 and has been used although the frets, trussrod & neck are all excellent. The nicks and scrapes around the body consistent with age. The neck is good and the guitar is a great player. The shorter scale & lightweight slab body make these guitars very popular with "Surf" & "Indie" players alike. They were introduced by Fender in 1964 as a replacement for the "Musicmaster" & "Duo Sonic" student models. The scale length on the Japanese Reisssues is 24" and they are equipped with a tremolo vibrato system & 2 x single coil pickups. The switching system on the pickups also gives you the option of having them in or out of phase
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Jaguars have a wider body than Strats and Teles and this is a tight fit in the hard case but it does offer it good protection in transit although not ideal in size. If you want a particular fitted case for the guitar, this will be more expensive although I am happy to research it. Just let me know. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag

The Mustang is unusual in having neither a pickup selector nor a circuit selector switch, instead just using the two pickup switches to allow the pickups to be used either singly or in parallel. The second on position reverses the phase of the selected pickup, allowing the pickups to be either in or out of phase when in parallel.
