1997/2000 Fender Japan Precision Bass
PB70-US Olympic White with new hard case
This 70's Reissue Precision Bass from Fender Japan has the benefit of a solid Alder body & a factory fitted USA pickup. Once again, a model that I believe was built for the Japanese market only. The only way of getting one is to import it
The bass has had use in its 20 year life and there are a few scratches and scuffs around the ages. Like other Fender guitars and Basses in Olympic white, the colour has yellowed in places and there are other slight discolourations which you can see if you look closely. There is also a blemish on the fretboard. It doesn't interfere or affect playing in any way If you want a pristine bass then this isn't the one for you, however, if you like a bass that plays really well with a thin neck & a great pickup together with 70's styling & a scrolled headstock transfer then this is perfect.
The bass has no noticeable fret wear and I have tried to show all the marks I can find in the gallery photographs.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a black one. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £30) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in
So to sum up, a nicely aged bass guitar from Fender Japan. This model is very difficult to find here in the UK as usually they come with Japanese pickups & no hardcase.
