Tokai Japan TST-50 Surf Green & New Hard Case
Fantastic condition on this little used, highly rated Strat from Tokai Japan. Cool colour too!
From the early Springy Sound series, Tokai have long been making Stratocasters. In the 80's they went on to make the Goldstar series which they are still making today. This is one such Goldstar which I believe to be from the early 00's. I have had a few before in Sunburst. Sometimes they come with "Made in Japan" & sometimes not. Annoyingly, they don't have a serial number either. Having said that, from the excellent playability, the pickups, the finish, the large tremolo block (not the weedy ones you see on Squiers etc) & the "Made in Japan" stamped pots & Japanese "Shinagawa" wiring, it's easy to confirm it's a Japanese instrument & not a cheap Chinese Tokai.
This guitar came in as a PX & the previous owner bought it believing it to be an 80's Tokai. That, it isn't. However it's a really nice guitar & in excellent overall condition.
Having a good look over it, there are some light playing marks on the pickguard and some very minor scratches on the body but that's about it.

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
