Rob is the real deal - very friendly and helpful and helped me to get hold of the perfect guitar. I'll definitely be returning in future when I'm next guitar shopping!

Firstly my apologies for not thanking Rob here sooner & leaving him a review of the super Yamaha SG-1000 I bought nearly a year ago!. I can't remember a better Guitar buying experience than I had with Rob at Whitstable Guitars & I've bought quite a few from other shops over the years- like we all have!. But buying a Guitar from Rob was different from the rest in all the very best ways possible. The Yamaha SG-1000 I bought is a beautiful early 80's Guitar in cherry sunburst with gold h/w, the Guitar is in really great condition & it sounds absolutely superb and just as you would expect from one of Yamaha's classic SG's. Rob set up the Guitar very nicely & packed it very carefully for me which is a clear testimony to how he takes his customer care very seriously. When I told a mate of mine I'd bought a Guitar from Rob at Whitstable Guitars, he said "oh you'll have no trouble there, he's a top bloke". That says it all. Cheers Rob & thank you again for your top notch service and a really fantastic Guitar..

Just glad I discovered this Aladdin's cave of beautiful Japanese guitars before the rest of the world did. So many more attractive, unusual and reasonably priced than the usual big name suspects and dealers too big to provide the personal service and enthusiasm that Rob does.

I was lucky enough to be in Whitstable last month and bought a beautiful '60s reissue Japanese Tele in black. Maple neck, U.S. pups, double bound and lovely action. Thanks so much Rob for letting me play every available Tele and your fantastic service and ethos......not to mention lift back in to town! Have spread the word and am sure I will be back.......First Class!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just collected my 4th guitar from Rob. 57 reissue Japanese Fender Strat. Superb instrument - looks and sounds great. Every guitar I have purchased from Rob has been excellent and when I have been looking for something specific, he has found the perfect match. Thanks Rob.... looking forward to the next one!

I have just received a Japanese Mustang 69 Reissue, it looked great in the photos, but in the flesh it's amazing, and near perfect condition for a period guitar. No marks, perfect neck and frets. The action is low and the nut is cut spot on for low 1st fret clearance. A credit to the Fender Japan factory. Thank you Whitstable Guutars.
