2011 Edwards ESP Japan E-LP-98 LTS Cherry Sunburst & new Hard Case
Here's another excellent guitar from Edwards ESP. This Les Paul model is from the "LTS" or "Lacquer Taste Series" This is a process where a thin nitro cellulose finish is applied over a poly varnish. The result is a satin type finish so not the usual high gloss finish that you often see. To me it looks a bit classier! This Edwards has the usual top quality build and specs from this guitar builder. Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck & USA Seymour Duncan pickups.
Edwards guitars are made in Japan by ESP. You won't see very many in the UK & every one of those I have seen has been an import. As far as I am aware, Edwards guitars are generally close replicas of USA guitars & as such, they are just made for the Japanese domestic market. What I will say about them is that they are built to a really high standard & not only that, they use good woods (Ash/Alder/Mahogany etc) and are usually fitted with USA pickups & electrics (CTS pots & switches) and Japanese GOTOH hardwear. The Edwards Les Paul range are always popular & they never hang around very long.
This particular guitar is finished in a Cherry Sunburst. It does have some small chips and marks to the finish but these are all on the back and sides and I have highlighted them in the gallery photos. This guitar has been used but any marks are consistent with age The frets have around 70% life left and the guitar plays really well.

All in all it's an excellent guitar from ESP that you probably won't find here in the UK
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case is a nice new fitted one from Thomann in Germany. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gig bag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
