2011 Edwards ESP  E-SE-93M-LT 2TS MIJ & New Hard Case

Edwards guitars are made in Japan by ESP. You won't see very many in the UK & every one of those I have seen has been an import. As far as I am aware, Edwards guitars are generally close replicas of USA guitars & as such, they are just made for the Japanese domestic market. What I will say about them is that they are built to a really high standard & not only that, they use good woods (Ash/Alder/Mahogany etc) and are usually fitted with USA pickups & electrics (CTS pots & switches) and Japanese GOTOH hardwear. This particular guitar has USA Seymour Duncan SSL-1 & SSL-3 pickups. That's a lot of guitar for the money!

This E-SE- 93M-LT is finished in a two tone sunburst with a satin finish & is basically a vintage USA Strat copy but with a few subtle differences, most notably, the fretboard radius is a flatter 9.5" than the original 7.25" which makes bending much easier. The neck profile is a lovely soft "V" which may feel differently initially to the modern "C" profiles found on most Fender Japans but it's very comfortable and was chosen by a session player & recent purchaser in preference to a modern "C"
Other differences are a softly shaped headstock and a "dual switch mode" The second tone pot has a push/push facility. When it's "in", it acts as any other strat would but when it's "out"

the sound at the normal bridge and neck positions becomes a series connection sound with adjacent pickups, and the output at the middle position only at the other three positions. You can switch to a total of two types of tones.
A total of seven different tones can be output with a single guitar.

This particular guitar is in excellent condition and the only blemishes I could find on it were some small scratches on the top edge  (see photos) and some discolouration on the back of the neck. I have tried to show this in the photos. None of this affects what is a superb Japanese built guitar loaded with high end electrics & pickups

All in all it's an excellent guitar from ESP that you won't easily find here in the UK

Thomann Black Hard Case

Hard Case

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag

If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.

Or, you can buy easily and safely using the paypal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
