Edwards ESP E-TE-105FM CSB MIJ 2015 & New Hard Case
What a stunner this is from Edwards ESP! Alder body & Maple top & binding, Gold hardwear & USA Seymour Duncans. I couldn't resist it when I saw it listed.
Edwards guitars are made in Japan by ESP. You won't see very many in the UK & every one of those I have seen has been an import. As far as I am aware, Edwards guitars are generally close replicas of USA guitars & as such, they are just made for the Japanese domestic market. What I will say about them is that they are built to a really high standard & not only that, they use good woods (Ash/Alder/Mahogany etc) and are usually fitted with USA pickups & electrics (CTS pots & switches) and Japanese GOTOH hardwear. This particular guitar has USA Seymour Duncan pickups. That's a lot of guitar for the money!
The E-TE 105FM is obviously a F****r Telecaster copy with a few subtle differences. The neck has a slim "C" profile on this guitar. Sometimes Edwards use a "V" profile on their Strats & Teles but this is a "C" profile Maple neck. It's quite slim and is really nice to play, the fretboard radius is 240 mm, nearly 10" so much flatter than the 7.25" on a vintage style F****r. If you look at the back of the body, you can firstly note that the body is contoured like a Strat, making it more comfortable to play and also the neck heel has been shaped to make access to the top frets much easier. I play a couple of tunes on my Tele in the band & the solos are up around the 17th-19th frets and they can be tricky. This certainly makes it easier. The Seymour Duncan USA pickups work as they should in the normal mode but there is a push/push tone pot & when it is in the "out" position it acts as a boost by putting both pickups in series
This guitar was made in 2015 and hasn't been used very much. The frets are in excellent condition with no indents and the guitar is all original. I couldn't find any notable damage. Just some light playing marks and a tiny lacquer crack (not structural) at the usual place on the neck pocket. The gold on the hardwear hasn't tarnished and, as you can see, the film cover is still on the pickguard. This is not unusual to see on the guitars I import. They are usually in superb condition.
All in all it's an excellent guitar from ESP that you probably won't find here in the UK

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
