2017 Fender Japan Aerodyne Stratocaster Chrome Red & New Hard Case

The Aerodyne Stratocaster from Fender Japan is not often seen outside Japan. They are popular with the domestic market & other than a few Black ones, I haven't seen any others in the UK (apart from my imports) They are a lightweight Stratocaster (this one is just 3.22kg) with body binding, a carved top & a colour matched headstock. They either have a H/S/S pickup configuration or, like this one the traditional S/S/S. The other important feature with the Aerodyne is that they come in two scale lengths, the standard 25.5" or a 24.75" or "Gibson" scale length. This guitar is the standard size Strat which will suit the traditionalists. It's worth noting that the neck is super slim & easy to play. The Aerodynes are equipped with Fender Japan vintage pickups which sound great.

This particular guitar is in great condition other than a small lacquer crack on the body near the jack input. It looks to have been caused by a pick guard screw. I have removed the pickguard to check that there was no splitting underneath & I can confirm (see gallery photos) that it's just a lacquer crack. Still annoying & there is a price reduction on this guitar. There are also some playing marks on the pickguard but that is about it. Please check out the gallery for detailed photos

Thomann Black Hard Case

Hard Case

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag

If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.

Or, you can buy easily and safely using the paypal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
