Fender Japan Classic Series '50s Telecaster VNT & New Hard Case
Made in 2017, this 50s Style Telecaster ticks all the right boxes. With it's 3 piece Ash body, 5 hole single ply pickguard and one piece 7.25" Maple neck it's a lovely looking guitar. Close in spec to a '52 reissue the only noticable differences are the chrome steel saddles on the bridge (50's reissue has brass ones) and the screws which are cross headed instead of slotted. Both things are relatively easy & cheap to change if you wanted to. I don't think I'd bother as the guitar looks beautiful. It plays really well too.
When I checked this guitar all over & found one tiny 2-3mm dent on the back of the guitar & some playing marks on the pickguard. That was it. The guitar also comes with it's original manual & other paperwork.
I had a look online & I found some discontinued versions of some similar models from a few years ago but that was it. Here's some information from Fender Japan I found out about this guitar:
Classic Vintage Tones and Hardware:
The 2 Fender single coils deliver a powerful, yet twangy rockabilly sound. This guitar is at home in the hands of a country, rock or indie guitarist.
With vintage-style bridge and frets, the look and feel of this Classic 50’s Tele is convincing and inspiring to players looking for that old-school vibe. This retro-looking guitar wouldn't have looked out of place in the 50's.
High-Quality Japanese Build:
A 'Slim C' neck profile makes playing feel effortless and comfortable, and the ash body delivers a full-bodied sound. The legendary Japanese build quality and solid hardware make this a reliable workhorse which will go and go.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. I do have a tweed option and these are a little dearer (extra £12). If you prefer that, please email me for details. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £30) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in
So to sum up, a superb Fender 50s Style Telecaster from Fender Japan. This model is near impossible to find here in the UK unless you import it.
