Here's a stunning Fender Made in Japan Hybrid 68 Stratocaster in popular California Blue. Built in 2017 it has been little used & I would describe it as "near mint" condition. The Hybrid models from Fender feature an Alder body, Maple neck & Rosewood fingerboard. A modern 9.5" fretboard radius, Fender USA Vintage pickups, 2 point locking tremolo system, locking tuners & a beautiful vintage natural gloss finish. It looks stunning.
If you are unaware, the main differences from the '68 Strat to the '72 model are that the '68 Strat has no bullet truss rod & a 4 point fixing for the neck.
Since 2015, Fender Made in Japan guitars have been produced at the "Dyna-Gakki" factory in Nagano. This facility has been making fabulous guitars since 1972 for Fender Japan (pre 2015) Greco, Fernandes. The quality of the instruments coming from this factory is superb.

Other notable features are that the back of the neck has a satin finish which feels silky smooth when playing and the truss rod is adjusted at the headstock so no more neck removals during set up.
Overall, this guitar is in a 9.5/10 condition. The guitar plays & sounds fabulous as you would expect.

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag.
