This 2007-2010 guitar is a bit of a rarity from Fender Japan. It's an Ash bodied, '52 Style Telecaster with Maple neck & 7.25" Maple fretboard radius but with a pair of open Humbuckers. Just to be clear this hasn't had a body modification to accomodate the humbuckers. This is factory spec but the Fender Japan Humbuckers which don't have the greatest reputation have been upgraded with a pair of USA Suhr "Doug Aldrich . I'll let you do your own research on these fantastic pickups which are around £230.00 a set! It also features the 50's Logo on the headstock.
The condition of the guitar is excellent for the year with a straight neck & no indents on the frets which have plenty of life left in them. There are 2 chips on the back of the guitar and one chip near the bottom edge. Both of these have been drop-filled, smoother & polished
This isn't a guitar that comes up for sale very often and an internet search revealed some Mexican Fender "Player Series" guitars at between £600-£800 for a used model but Japanese models (which I only found for sale in Japan) which are mostly described as "shop order" models were priced around £1,200 plus delivery & Import duties & VAT etc making this one a very good price. The guitar is a joy to play.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £50) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in.
