2019 Fender Japan Jazzmaster Hybrid Indigo Blue & Used Hard Case
Made in 2019, this Jazzmaster Hybrid from Fender Japan is in near mint condition. This is a current model & was available in the UK for a while at around £1100.00 although every dealer I looked at showed it as "out of stock" so perhaps they are a "short run" model.
Jazzmasters are very popular & just so cool looking! This model has a Maple fretboard & is equipped with Fender USA pickups. The Indigo colour & white pearl pickguard really do look good.
This particular guitar shows barely any signs of even having been played. The protective film is still on the pickguard & I can't find a scratch anywhere on it. Sometimes the guitars I import have only been used as shop demonstrators & I think this may well be one of them.
When I looked online, this model was shown as having a "satin" finish but this is clearly gloss. Perhaps the domestic market models (this one) and the exports had different specs but I doubt that.
New models come with a cheap thin padded gigbag which I think is pretty poor considering the price of the guitar but I'm supplying this guitar with a generic hard case to protect it whilst in transit. It's a snug fit as Jazzmasters are slightly wider than a Strat or Tele but makes far more sense to me.
Here is some information and specifications for this guitar which I got from Fender
FENDER MIJ HYBRID JAZZMASTER INDIGO - VERY LIMITED EDITION
The Fender Made in Japan Hybrid Jazzmaster Indigo is the first Jazzmaster model in the Hybrid series. It is a special guitar equipped with an elegant white pearl pick guard, wearing an indigo colour that is inspired by the traditional colour of Japan. It provides player-friendly performance that combines the modern specs of the Hybrid series, including 9.5” radius fretboard, “U”-shaped neck and US Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickups.
Hardware & Electronics
Notable hardware appointments include a 6-saddle Vintage-style bridge and vintage-style tuners. The pickups are US Jazzmaster-sized single-coils with alnico magnets – this gives them a surprising amount of low-end richness.
Combined with the comprehensive Jazzmaster switching options, this set of pickups provides an incredibly versatile palette. The Jazzmaster was originally released back in the day as a top-of-the-range workhorse instrument – the MIJ Hybrid channels that approach with finesse.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. I do have a tweed option and these are a little dearer (extra £12). If you prefer that, please email me for details. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £30) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in
So to sum up, a superb Jazzmaster Hybrid from Fender Japan.
