JAPAN IMPORT

This Morocco Red 70's style Strat is in near mint condition and is just great. It's also supplied with a new hard case.

The International Limited Colour series came out in 2022 and are a kind of reissue of the original "International Series" that came out in the USA around 1980. They're familiar to me because I owned one! Mine was Maui Blue. Fender in Japan have brought out this series in some great vibrant colours.

They have been & still are available here is the UK but the price new is £1,190.00 & they come in a thin gig bag. Why would you pay that?

Here's some info from Fender:

The Fender Made in Japan Limited International Colour Stratocaster Series revisits a rare time in Fender history, reintroducing a colourful, distinctive, and cherished series.

The vibrant and intriguing International Colour collection made its debut almost four decades ago and was produced for less than a year! Introduced in 1981 with fittings rooted in '70s design. A new pallet of colours named for its exotic and provocative locations on the map. The Made in Japan International Colour Series are now available in a limited edition run.

Featuring resonant basswood bodies, 9.5 radius maple or rosewood fretboards and medium jumbo frets to aid in the comfortable and familiar feel.

The '70s "U" shaped neck features the original "Bullet" type truss rod nut, "F" Stamped  tuners, and serial number on the headstock front.

Vintage-style single-coil Strat pickups and a synchronised tremolo deliver iconic Fender tone and feel.

Changing course from the traditional blueprint, these guitars boast resonant basswood bodies, 9.5" radius maple or rosewood fingerboards and medium jumbo frets to accommodate more adventurous playing. The '70s "U" shape neck is outfitted just like the original with convenient "Bullet" style truss rod nut, three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt™ mechanism, "F" Stamped ™ tuners and even the serial number on the headstock face. Vintage-style single-coil Strat® pickups and synchronized tremolo deliver iconic Fender tone and feel.

Thomann Rectangular Hard Case

All in all it's an excellent guitar from Fender in Japan that is not so easy to find here in the UK

Hard Case Policy

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit.  Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag.

If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
