This Stratocaster is a Fender Japan Standard Strat & only built for the domestic market in Japan. Finished in a popular Lake Placid Blue. They look similar to a '62 reissue but have a few differences. The fretboard radius is 250mm (9.84") unlike the 62 reissue which have a 184mm (7.25") They have a Basswood body, a non lacquered neck with a plain "Fender" transfer, GOTOH tuners rather than Klusons & the bridge saddles are plain. The parts are white rather than the aged ones on the reissues. Having said all of that they are still made in Japan to the usual high standard & they play really well as you would expect. Also, they are £100.00-£150.00 cheaper than the reissues I sell on this website making them a really good buy.
Overall, this guitar is in very good condition. There is barely any wear & just a few tiny dents around the outer edges of the guitar. I have photographed these as best I can and they are included in the gallery photos. The guitar has no visible fretwear & is all original. The guitar plays & sounds just like a Jap Fender as you would expect.

Hard Case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
Or, you can buy easily and safely using the PayPal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
