Set Neck & USA Seymour Duncans on this unusual Fender Guitar
Well, this is an interesting guitar and a very worthy addition to the Whitstable Guitars stocklist. It came in as a part exchange and it looks and plays really well.
The Fender TC-90 was built from 2004-2007 & came in two colours, Black Cherry & Vintage White. Just 700 were made of each version in Korea for worldwide distribution so there aren't very many around. Essentially a Telecaster thinline but with a set neck, USA Seymour Duncans, a tune-o-matic bridge & a 25.5" scale length make this an interesting cross between a Fender & a Gibson. The build & finish reminds me very much of the excellent Korean Squier Esprits. Made in exactly the same period in Korea & in fact they also made Black Cherry & Vintage White versions, I would bet money that these were from the same factory, probably Samick.
Please don't be put off by the MIK origins, this is a seriously good guitar. Great build quality & superb pickups. It has a slim "U" profile neck & the set neck & cutaways give great access to the upper frets
This particular guitar is in excellent condition for its age, it is all original and has little fretwear & e few scratches on the front & sides plus a little bucklerash on the back. There were a few small dents when it came in and these have been filled, smoothed & polished and are now invisible. This is possible when the dents don't go right through the finish. Please check out the gallery where I have photographed all areas of the guitar

Online reviews are generally excellent for this guitar & it is quite sought after. It was eventually superceded by the "Jim Adkins" JA-90 which had a shorter, Gibson scale length (24.75") & 2 x Volume & 2 x Tone controls.
Here's a really good review of the same guitar which I found online:
To sum up, a very different but excellent guitar from Fender which is quite hard to find & fabulous value at under £500 including a fitted case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This guitar is being sold with the case that it came in with. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag

Or, you can buy easily and safely using the paypal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
