This Telecaster is a Fender Japan Standard Telecaster & only built for the domestic market in Japan. . They have a Basswood body, a non lacquered neck with a plain "Fender" transfer, GOTOH tuners rather than Klusons & a flat chrome plate top loading bridge with six saddles. The Telecaster Standard also has a flatter 9.5" Fretboard. The pickguard is white single ply. They also have a more modern jack socket. Having said all of that they are still made in Japan to the usual high standard & they play really well as you would expect. Also, they are £100.00-£150.00 cheaper than the reissues I sell on this website making them a really good buy.
This Telecaster is from 1995 and overall, is in an 8.5/10 condition. There is little wear with just a few tiny dents around the outer edges of the guitar. I had to repair two dents on the back of the guitar but these were only small & too minor for the camera to pick up. The guitar has no visible fretwear & is all original. The guitar plays & sounds just like a Jap Fender Telecaster as you would expect.

Hard Case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
Or, you can buy easily and safely using the PayPal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
