2018 Fender Japan Traditional 50s Telecaster Special Natural
with new Hard Case
Fender Telecasters are great. They have been making them forever and they are as popular now as they have always been. This particular model is called a Traditional 50s Tele Special. The body (Ash) and the Maple neck and fretboard are tradional 50s style as is the bridge pickup, tuners and pickguard but the rest of the guitar has a modern twist with a beefy Humbucker at the neck position, modern 6 saddle bridge for more accurate intonation etc & a much better modern input socket. The result is a really nice looking and playing Telecaster
This '50s Special from Fender Japan is just 2 years old. It plays exceptionally well & the slim neck is lovely. The frets are pretty much as new and the vintage natural is a really popular finish.
This guitar is pretty much mint with no scratches, dents, chips or other damage that I can find anywhere. Apart from some light playing marks on the pickguard, that is it
The guitar looks great & the build quality is as you would expect. What more can I say.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. I do have a tweed option and these are a little dearer (extra £12). If you prefer that, please email me for details. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £30) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in
So to sum up, a superb Telecaster from Fender Japan. This model is hard to find here in the UK.
