JAPAN IMPORT
I suppose, in Japanese guitar terms, this is a little bit of a rarity. Fujigen Custom House guitars were built to the highest standards & in very limited numbers for the first few years of this millennium. The headstock logo is very different from what you see later on from Fujigen guitars. This Telecaster dates from 2006 and has some interesting features, most notably are a pair of USA Dimarzio pickups. DP181 (Fast Track 1) at the neck and DP384 (THE CHOPPER T) on the rear, with a coil tap switch effective only on the rear pickup. The neck is fitted with jumbo frets and the neck profile is a comfortable "soft V" which, although slightly thicker than the usual "slim C" profiles you find on Japanese guitars is really nice to play. This guitar also features Fujigen's CFS system for better intonation & a brighter sound
When this guitar came in it was the original spec which had no tone control. Google image searches will show this. I wasn't a fan so I have added a CTS tone pot & capacitor & moved the micro switch. For me it gives a much better range of tones for the guitar
The neck is beautifully straight and feels a little thicker to me than some other FGN's but I liked it and took the guitar on a gig with me :) It performed very well. Low action, good sustain from the pickups & very nice to play

The compound radius fingerboard has smaller (rounder) radius towards nut while larger (flatter) radius towards neck end i.e. similar to a shape of a cone. This allows for much easier chord playing at lower frets while having less stress, especially when bending strings at higher registers.
As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £50) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in
So to sum up, an excellent guitar from Fujigen Japan. This model is not so easy (or as cheap) to find here in the UK unless you import it. Why not play something that's just a little bit different?
