2000 Greco Japan EJR-82D Junior Cherry & New Hard Case
Here's a guitar that I haven't seen before. I really like Les Paul Specials & Juniors so this immediately caught my eye. Made in Japan around 20 years ago the model is called an EJR-82D. A google search revealed one or two of these Grecos dotted around the world but only very few.
This guitar is in very good overall condition but it does have one or two dents which I have photographed in the gallery. The guitar is all original & the frets are excellent with no indents and lots of life left.
A feature I do like on this guitar is the trussrod adjustment which is done where the neck joins the body. Very simple & effective
The guitar plays really nicely. Straight neck which is a little thicker than some Japanese necks but definitely not "baseball bat" style & the P90 pickup which is marked as a DE1S-BLK-B27C I assume is one of Greco's own. I can't find any info on it but plugged in it sounds awesome. I love the simplicity of the Les Paul Juniors & this is no exception. These guitars were only ever made in small numbers making them quite scarce & sought after, particularly outside of Japan.
