1986 Squier Japan CST-30 3TS & New Hard Case
I am on holiday & my guitars are in storage until 19th April.
Please email me if you want to hold a guitar until I return.
This was a rather unusual find in Japan. It's an E Series Squier Stratocaster in a 70s style. The JV Squier series that were built for the domestic market also included the "CST" range. CST stands for "Current Stratocasters" which was what these were copies of in the early 80's. They were built in the 70's style with a large headstock & scrolled script, 3 bolt neck with the "F" logo'd shield style neck plate. Fender Japan tuners, a large heavy bridge block. As I'm sure you know, the JV series was superseded by the SQ series & then the "E" series which ran from 1984-1987. All of these guitars were built at Fujigen-Gakki Japan to an excellent standard. Although this isn't a JV, it's been built to the same standard & this guitar has been well cared for and is all original other than the back plate which was missing when it came in
This guitar was made in 1986 and hasn't been used that much. The frets are in good condition with no indents . There are a few of small knocks on the guitar but nothing bad and at this age, it adds to that vintage look which this has definitely got..
All in all it's a great guitar from Fender (Squier) Japan that you won't easily find here in the UK. Check out the photo gallery where there is a copy of an old Fender Squier catalogue showing the CST range

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
Or, you can buy easily and safely using the paypal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
