2017 Tokai Japan AST-110 MH Goldstar Stratocaster Mahogany/Rosewood & new hard case
Wow! What an absolutely beautiful guitar this is. Made by Tokai Japan in 2017, I suspect that it may have been a shop demo model as it arrived with cellophane covers still on the pickguard and the pickups & no real evidence of any use.
The guitar is in near mint condition and is one of a special run made by Tokai. It features a two piece Mahogany body, a one piece Mahogany neck & Rosewood fingerboard. A tortoiseshell pickguard compliments the Mahogany well & it is loaded with a set of Tokai's own highly rated vintage pickups. Yes, the guitar is a little heavier than the Ash bodied Strats I usually see from Fender Japan but at 3.98 kg it's no heavier than a 70s USA Strat or a recent Alder bodied Telecaster I have had. Most Japanese Strats are around 3.5 kg so it's very playable.
Being a Japanese Tokai, the build quality is superb & the Fretboard radius, at 9.5" (240mm) is flatter, and for me, much more playable than the usual 7.25" vintage radius which can choke out on bends. Really, really like this guitar & I know it won't be around for long.
Here's some blurb & specs I found on line:

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
