2011 Tokai Japan ATE-115 Breezysound MIJ & New Hard Case
Tokai Japan have been making electric guitars since the 1960's and that still continues to this day. When I first started to import from Japan there was no restriction on Rosewood so I imported lots of "Love Rocks" models. Sadly I can't do this at present but when this modern Tokai Breezysound came up with a Maple fretboard, I couldn't resist! It's a real beauty with just some minor marks and very fine scratches. No bashes or dents
Tokai Breezysounds first appeared in the early 80's and have always been very popular. The Tokai factory actually made guitars for Fender Japan for about 15 years and I'm guessing that it was during this period that this one was made. The other thing that makes these so good are Tokai's own pickups. Well made Alnico pickups with cloth wiring, they sound great & once again are highly regarded. The colour given to me for this particular guitar is "Off White Blonde" but I'm not sure that's correct as it's more of a "translucent Butterscotch" with the grain showing nicely through.
The higher the model number usually has a relevance to the price tag in Yen in Japan. This being a 115 so it's a higher end model than the other Breezysounds. I have also read online that the 115 has a nitrocellulose finish (see spec) but I can't 100% confirm this but 3 or 4 adverts for similar new guitars mention this. Anyway, here's the spec from Tokai

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
Or, you can buy easily and safely using the paypal "buy now" button. Don't forget to select the right option using the drop down menu on price, i.e. Collection, UK shipping or EU shipping. If in doubt, please email me first as Highlands & Islands can sometimes be a little dearer for shipping
