JAPANESE IMPORT
Here's a mid 80's Les Paul Standard copy from Yamaha Japan. The "Lord Player" series superseded the "Studio Lords" and were only built for around 2 years, manufacturing ceased in 1985 however they did feature in the 1985 Yamaha catalogue. The Studio Lord & Lord Player series were manufactured for the Japanese market only and therefore any you see for sale in other countries have been imported there such as this one.
Like all Japanese Yamahas, they were built to a very high standard and are often sought out by collectors these days. I would describe this example as in excellent condition for a 40 year old guitar. Everything is original as far as I can tell. It looks really nice and it plays very well too. In my opinion, it's superior to many modern mass produced guitars & cheaper too!
As you can see the condition is great. There is the odd small dent around the edges plus a few wear related scratches but it really is a beauty & would be a great addition to anyone's collection.
Like so many vintage Japanese guitars, it is difficult to get the correct specifications & once again, I am very grateful to Bill Alston's excellent website: https://www.alston-family.co.uk/index.php
for some invaluable information.

Hard Case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag.
If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
Or, you can buy quickly and safely using the PayPal "buy now" button and I will ship to most UK addresses the next working day. Highlands and Islands can be slightly dearer but I'll keep the cost as low as I can.
I can accept credit card payments by phone and will also offer a small discount to purchasers using bank transfer payments.
Overseas customers are very welcome but please email me first for shipping quotes.
