JAPAN IMPORT

This 2017 Fender Made in Japan 70's reissue Telecaster is from their current "Traditional Series" range of guitars which include Strats, Jazzmasters, Mustangs & Tele's.

It is an attractive guitar with a classic 70s look. The guitar features an Ash body with a Black finish, a Maple neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard, resulting in a rich sound with a fast attack and smooth playability.

The entire electronics system has been replaced, and the pickups have been upgraded to  Fender USA/'62 Telecaster Custom Pickups with black bobbins, cross-wired leads, and tall G finishes. The pickup selector is an OAK 51992 three-way, the potentiometers are CTS, and the capacitors are genuine Fender Pure Vintage Wax Paper Capacitors 0.05μF 150V, providing a vintage-like yet stable sound.
There are some minor scratches, dents, and tarnish on the metal, but no major damage. There are no noticeable defects on the neck, and the playing condition is good.

I can't find any of these still listed new. The list price was around £1100 supplied with a gig bag and with the standard Japanese pickups. So £779.00 including a new £65 hard case is  a great deal.

For info:

Since 2015, Fender Made in Japan guitars have been produced at the "Dyna-Gakki" factory in Nagano. This facility has been making fabulous guitars since 1972 for Fender Japan (pre 2015) Greco, Fernandes. The quality of the instruments coming from this factory is superb.

A lovely 70's style Telecaster from Fender in Japan.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £50) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in.

If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
