JAPAN IMPORT

You may not have heard of "History" but you have probably heard of the factory where it was made. Fujigen-Gakki is one of the best known guitar makers in Japan & over the years has been responsible for nearly all of the finest Japanese made guitars. Ibanez, Orville, Fender, Greco, Epiphone Elite, Yamaha & many others were/are all made at Fujigen. Fujigen make their own FGN brand and also make guitars for Japanese distributors Shimamura & these are the History & CoolZ brands. You don't see them outside of Japan as they are for the domestic market only but they are built to Fujigen's usual high standard. I've had a few History & CoolZ guitars on the website over the years & I have to say, they're very good.

This History Telecaster Standard is a very nice Japanese made Telecaster from Fujigen. It's in fantastic condition and looks to have been barely used. It plays very well & Fujigen's own (probably GOTOH) alnico pickups sound great

Alder body & one piece Maple neck & Rosewood fretboard. Finished in popular 3 tone Sunburst. Fujigen's famous Circular Fretting System (CFS) for accurate intonation. Colour matched headstock, Through body stringing with a 6 saddle bridge for perfect intonation. The back of the neck has a lovely satin finish although the headstock has a gloss lacquer. It is fitted with Fujigen's own Alnico Tele pickup at the bridge & a single coil "lipstick" pickup at the neck.

This particular guitar was made at Fujigen in 2021 and has been really well looked after. Other than a few minor nicks on the back edge that is about it. I had a real job finding the spec and I had to ask one of my Japanese friends to help me out. Hopefully I've now got this right.

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £50) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in

So to sum up, an excellent guitar from Fujigen Japan. This model is not so easy (or as cheap) to find here in the UK unless you import it. Why not play something that's just a little bit different?
