Here's a really good example of a 70's reissue guitar from Fender Japan. ST-72 means a 1972 reissue Stratocaster & 3TS/R indicates 3 tone sunburst with a Rosewood fretboard.
The guitar has a Basswood body and a Maple neck & Rosewood fretboard. The pickguard is a 3 ply Parchment white & the knobs are a vintage white
The 70's Stratocasters featured Maple necks, large headstock & a bullet trussrod. Other features were a 7.25" fretboard radius, a 3 ply pickguard, chrome block saddles & a 3 point neck bolt with micro-tilt adjustment.
This guitar is in really good condition considering it is over 25 years old. There are a few very small dents around the guitar that I have photographed & can be seen in the gallery. I repaired one small chip on the back edge and I also noticed that the chrome had pitted on the bridge saddles. I have tried to photograph all of these areas as best as I can and have highlighted any areas in the gallery pics. The tremolo arm and backplate were missing when it arrived & have both been replaced with aftermarket ones.

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
