JAPAN IMPORT
PGM are boutique guitar makers within the Deviser factory in Japan who also make Bacchus, Headway, Moon, Van Zandt and other guitars. All high end hand made guitars and virtually impossible to get hold of here in the UK unless you import one.
I had to dig deep to find some definitive information on this guitar. Eventually my Japanese assistant Naoto, found this guitar listed in a 2014 Deviser catalogue. The screenshots in the gallery are pages from that catalogue
This guitar is a Telecaster fitted with Van Zandt P-90 pickups. It has a 2 piece Mahogany body, a Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard and the guitar has a thin Nitrocellulose finish. If you check out the gallery you can see the grain of the Mahogany showing through giving it almost a satin finish.
Here's what Deviser say about the finish (translated text)
PGM: Deviser Produced.
All PGM brand products are finished with an all-lacquer finish.
Lacquer has the great appeal of gradually thinning the coating over time, bringing out the natural sound of the wood, but it requires careful processing and is not necessarily rational from a cost perspective.
Among these, PGM is committed to using all-lacquer finishes because it places the utmost importance on the sound that the instrument produces as it is made of wood.
We pursue rationality by reviewing the costs involved in guitar making, such as the wood, parts, and processes used, solidifying specifications, and limiting the models produced.
Although the all-lacquer finish requires a lot of work, it offers outstanding cost performance.
The guitar has some playing marks and some tiny scratches. That is all. It is near mint condition
A beautifully made guitar that plays as well as it looks. Super powerful P-90 pickups too!
Please excuse the poor photos. A combination of bad daylight on a dark January afternoon & trying to photograph a black guitar. Not easy! I'll re-do them on a brighter day.

Hard Case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that i won't ship a guitar in a gigbag.
If you are further interested in this guitar, you can either email me with any queries & I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
Or, you can buy quickly and safely using the PayPal "buy now" button and I will ship to most UK addresses the next working day. Highlands and Islands can be slightly dearer but I'll keep the cost as low as I can.
I can accept credit card payments by phone and will also offer a small discount to purchasers using bank transfer payments.
Overseas customers are very welcome but please email me first for shipping quotes.
