JAPAN IMPORT
I love Japanese made Schecter guitars. I've probably imported around half a dozen now and all have been superb. Like many of the guitars I import, (Edwards, Bacchus, FGN, Burny etc) they're not seen much outside Japan which, I think makes them all the more special. Don't get me wrong, I love Fenders, Yamahas, Epiphones etc too but it's great to see/play something just a little bit different & it's generally accepted that the Japanese craftsmen with their skill, attention to detail and build quality are second to none.
In it's design, the RJ-1-24 reminds me of the Ibanez Roadstar, PRS & in it's body shape, a Stratocaster but with a set neck. It's a beauty to look at, is nicely balanced, not too heavy at 3.96kg. It has a slightly thicker, but very playable neck and a pair of Schecter's own "Super Rock J" humbuckers, both with coil splitting which sound great.
This particular guitar is in fantastic condition and I can't find any flaws on the guitar other than some light playing marks. The stickers are still on the pickups as well as the film on the back panel. It plays superbly well & is highly recommended.

A set neck that makes use of SCHECTER's unique know-how, which has mainly been policy for bolt-on type guitars. The ULTRA ACCESS 4 BOLT structure, which was developed to improve playability in high positions, is adopted for the set neck. We have further improved and developed our own heel cut.
PICKUPS SCHECTER SUPER ROCK J (F&R)
Made in SCHECTER JAPAN, it features a wide range and a sharp rise with an edge. It responds sensitively to delicate picking nuances, and can express more expressive sounds.

Hard Case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag.
