Every so often, I receive emails from left handed guitarists asking about left handed imports. TBH they are quite rare and I just looked at the present ratio of left to right handed guitars from my Japanese stockist and it is 3 out of 1012! So, when I saw this one come up I thought it time that I add one to my stock & hopefully help out a left handed player. I'm left handed myself but had to learn right handed as my right handed brother had the only guitar in our house. I'm grateful for that simply for the choice of right handed guitars that I have over the left handed ones.
So, here we have a 25 year old Fender Japan Left handed '72 reissue Telecaster with a Basswood body, Maple neck & fretboard, GOTOH tuners
The condition of the guitar for it's age is really good & I don't think it's been played very much. There was a small dent on the rear top edge which has been repaired (see before/after shots in gallery) but that as well as some light scratches & a couple of tiny dents is about it. The figuring on the Maple neck is really good in places. I've tried to capture it in a couple of photos but it's much better in the flesh. The condition is consistent with a 25 year old guitar that has been played & not sat in its case.
The Basswood body means you get a nice light, well balanced Telecaster. The frets have no visible wear & the guitar seems to play very nicely. It's always tricky for me with a left handed guitar as I have to rely on measurements rather than playability

As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £50) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in.
