JAPAN IMPORT
This beautiful Les Paul style guitar from Greco in Japan is rarely seen, particularly outside of Japan.
The Greco LG-90 is a Japanese-made solid-body electric guitar from the mid-1990s designed to compete with the popular ESP Eclipse models. These Les Paul-style instruments, often featuring modern, thinner bodies and sometimes transparent finishes, were produced in Japan and featured in 1996 catalogues.
This guitar has a serial number dating it to 2002. It has a Mahogany body & neck with an Ash top and an Ebony fretboard. This particular guitar has had the pickups upgraded to USA Dimarzios.
Overall condition is excellent for a 24 year old guitar. There are a few tiny dents on the ash top and around the bottom edge but these are age related and consistent with a used 20+ year old instrument.
The guitar also features GOTOH locking tuners, a Gibson style tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece. The body and headstock binding is particularly interesting as it has a "Mother of Pearl" style about it.
This Greco plays beautifully & feels a really nice quality. I love the finish which reminds me of a Gibson LP "Smartwood" I owned about 15 years ago. The Ebony fretboard, trapezoid block MOP fret markers are quality touches as well as the binding I mentioned. The Dimarzios sound amazing and all in all it's just a lovely guitar.

Hard Case
As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag.
