2015 Fender Japan Exclusive Classic 70s Telecaster Thinline Vintage Natural & New Hard Case

This 2015 guitar is from Fender Japan's "Exclusive Classic" range which would have replaced the previous TL-72 Thinline HH but in fact, it's exactly the same.
With its Ash semi hollow body & Maple neck & fretboard, this lightweight Telecaster tips the scales at just 3.25 kg making it the lightest guitar on the website. It's fitted with a couple of Fender Japan Dragster Logo'd Humbucker pickups and it plays & sounds great.
It's a reissue of the 1972 Thinline. The condition of the guitar is very good although some dents in the lower frets necessitated a fret level & polish. This was carried out by excellent Kent luthier Andy Crockett & the result is shown in the photo gallery. There were also some dents on the guitar when it came in which have been filled smoothed and polished. I have photographed these after repair and these are shown in the photo gallery. The dents are drop filled then smoothed & polished. There are also small lacquer cracks at the neck joint (see gallery pics). Other than this, the guitar is in lovely condition. With a full fret dress, it is a joy to play.
